Russia's Uran-9 and Nerekhta combat robots take part in drills amid regular troop formations for the first time during joint Belarus-Russia Zapad-2021 strategic military exercises

The Uran-9 is a tracked unmanned combat ground vehicle (UCGV) designed for fire support, reconnaissance, and anti-tank missions. The UCGV can be equipped with an Ataka anti-tank guided missile launcher, 7.62-mm machine gun, Shmel-M rocket-assisted flamethrower, and a 30-mm 2A42 auto-cannon. Footage shows the Uran-9 destroying enemy armored vehicles from a distance of 3,000 to 5,000 meters.

The Nerekhta combat robot can be equipped with a 30-mm AG-30M grenade launcher and a 12.7-mm Kord machine gun. Footage shows the Nerekhta providing fire support to defending units during the drills, as they advanced in combat action.
