A court in Zambia has denied bail to 11 suspects who face smuggling, corruption and espionage charges.
The ruling comes after police found guns, ammunition, millions of dollars and fake gold on board private planes.
Five Egyptians were among the men arrested two weeks ago for allegedly entering a restricted zone at the Lusaka airport.
Al Jazeera’s Haru Mutasa reports.
