Yemen is suffering a fresh outbreak of cholera with doctors telling Sky News there seems to be higher numbers of babies struggling to survive hunger.

Around 2.7 million children are thought to be suffering from acute malnutrition.

The country - one of the poorest in the world - has found itself at the centre of global attention after the Iran-backed Houthi group began attacking western ships in the Red Sea in response to Israel's war in Gaza.

The Houthis control most of Yemen and the attacks have had a direct impact on aid supplies to the country's most needy and forced up the price of essentials such as food.
