World War II mystery: Unknown soldier's grave offers clue for missing Canadian crew

This week marks the 77th anniversary of D-Day, which was when Allied countries in the Second World War, including Canada, invaded a German-occupied Western Europe to liberate it from the Nazis.

Among their forces were crews of Canadian airmen who helped destroy key German targets. Now decades later, the grave of an unknown soldier who was initially believed to be American, could be offering clues for researchers to find a lost Canadian bomber crew.
