Thousands gathered in the hometown of Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez, widely known as Dibu, on Thursday to celebrate the team’s victory at the FIFA World Cup in Doha, Qatar.

Speaking to the crowd of more than 150,000, Martinez said one of his dreams as a goalkeeper was to give Lionel Messi, who he referred to as “the best player in the world,” the World Cup title.

Martinez won the Golden Glove trophy, an award given to the tournament’s best goalkeeper.

Massive celebrations have taken over the South American country since the team won the World Cup against France on Sunday.
