Eleanor Williams, who claimed she had been the victim of an Asian grooming gang has been convicted of perverting the course of justice.

She was 22 when she put pictures on Facebook claiming that she had been groomed, trafficked and beaten.

Her post was shared more than 100,000 times and led to demonstrations in her hometown.

But prosecutors said that her injuries were self-inflicted with a hammer.

Sky News' Home Editor Jason Farrell has the story.
