Winnipeg-area communities reeling after police link 2 deaths with hospital assault

Communities in the Winnipeg, Manitoba area are reeling after police linked the deaths of two people with the stabbing of a woman at Seven Oaks hospital in the city.

On Wednesday, police responded to a home outside Winnipeg where they found the body of a woman in her 70s. They were then called to Seven Oaks where a woman had reportedly been stabbed. She was taken to hospital and a man was taken into custody. Police have not yet named the suspect.

Officers were then called to another home in Winnipeg, where they found a man in his 70s, dead.

As Brittany Greenslade reports, police say it's believed the crimes are all connected.
