The U.K.'s Wimbledon tennis tournament is well underway but Belarusian and Russian athletes are banned from competing, in a move to stand against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
But the men's and women's tennis tours opposed this move, believing individual players should not be targeted and stripped Wimbledon of the points normally awarded from the tournament.
