U.S. president Joe Biden is adding pressure on all sides to end the fighting in Ethiopia's Tigray region.

While Tigrayan rebels welcomed the announcement, Ethiopia's Prime Minister accused the West of chastising his government.
So will the U.S. threat be enough to stop nearly a year of fighting?
