Will Avatar sequel produce a theatre-going comeback?

One of the biggest box office blockbusters coming out this season is the sequel to Avatar. If this film is successful, could it resurrect a comeback for the theatre-going crowd, especially in the high-margin IMAX movies?

In other news, former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried was arrested in the Bahamas this week following criminal charges that were filed by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the southern district of New York. What’s interesting is that this happened just hours after he posted on Twitter that he thought he wouldn’t be arrested.

A major investor in FTX, reality-TV star Kevin O’Leary testified before Congress this week and pointed the finger at another cryptocurrency exchange – Binance.
