Relations between Israel and Egypt are under renewed strain. Almost two weeks ago, Israel took control of a corridor running along the entire length of the Gaza-Egypt border. The move has raised tensions and is threatening to undo decades of diplomacy, including efforts to normalize relations with other Arab countries like Saudi Arabia.
