There have been violent protests on the streets of Madrid after the ruling socialist party decided to do a deal with Catalan Separatists. Spain’s nationalist Basque party has agreed to support the Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez as he aims to secure another term in office. But the move, and the concessions, have provoked heavy criticism and political unrest.
