Discussion on the current political and economic situation:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday urged Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Islamabad does not have any problem with the United States (US) developing a partnership with India if it is not at the cost of Pakistan.
During an exclusive interview with American magazine Newsweek, the defence minister said, India is a very big market of over 1.3 billion people.
“Everywhere in the world, the other big economies will need to have them as partners. But Pakistan is not a very big economy, and [is] a vulnerable economy,” he added.Finance Minister Ishaq Dar on Saturday issued a clarification regarding the speculations surrounding global energy giant Shell's decision to sell its shares in Pakistan, saying that the company wasn't closing its business in the country.
