Why Lawyer Amjad Pervez Not Come to Court | Kaptaan Case | Court Big Order

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has postponed the hearing of the case related to the conviction of former PM in the Toshakhana case. The adjourned hearing is now scheduled for August 28 (Monday). Both the IHC and the Supreme Court had previously rescheduled the hearing from Thursday to Friday (today).

During the Thursday hearing, Sardar Latif Khosa, Salman Akram Raja, and Barrister Gohar Ali Khan presented arguments opposing Imran's appeal before the IHC. They raised concerns about procedural errors, time limitations, and the lack of an opportunity for the defense counsel to present final arguments before the trial court's ultimate verdict.

In his petitions, Imran conveyed his dissatisfaction with the August 5 order from the Additional Sessions Judge, Islamabad (West), through which he was found guilty under Article 174 of the Election Act, 2017.
