In the battle of Barbenheimer, everyone was wondering who would be the biggest box office hit. Barbie, directed by Greta Gerwig, broke the first weekend record for a woman film director, selling $155 million in North American theater tickets and claiming the top spot. But Oppenheimer was close behind with 80.5 million ticket sales, The duo is likely to have claimed the fourth biggest box office weekend of all time.
