भारत दुनिया के दूसरे सबसे ज्यादा प्रदूषित देश में गिना गया है. शिकागो यूनिवर्सिटी ने जो रिपोर्ट जारी की है इस रिपोर्ट का नाम है एयर क्वालिटी लाइफ इंडेक्स, जो यह तय करती है कि अगर प्रदूषण का स्तर तय मानकों से ज्यादा है तो वहां रहने वाले लोगों की उम्र पर कितना बुरा असर पड़ता है.
