In exchange for the release of hostages, this cease-fire deal is expected to see 150 Palestinian prisoners freed from Israeli jails over the next four days, with a potential, second exchange to follow. Today's prisoner release is expected to happen at the Ofer military jail in the occupied West Bank where 39 Palestinian prisoners will be handed over to the International Committee of the Red Cross – among them 24 women and 15 teenage boys. Israel's justice ministry has identified 300 Palestinian prisoners as 'slated for release.' More details on these Palestinian prisoners and how this is expected to play out logistically from journalist Hazem Balousha.
