US Vice President Mike Pence has continued to campaign, despite his chief of staff, Marc Short, testing positive on Saturday, as did at least four others in his circle.
But spokespeople say the 61-year-old is healthy and is considered “essential personnel”, so he will continue to campaign.
Democratic vice presidential candidate, Senator Kamala Harris, took four days off the campaign trail this month after an aide tested positive for COVID-19.

Al Jazeera’s Andy Gallacher reports from Miami in the US state of Florida.
