A city in ruins, thousands of fighters killed - now Russia's Wagner mercenary group claims the battle for Bakhmut is over - at least for them. The head of the private army says his troops are withdrawing from the Ukrainian city, and handing over their positions to the Russian military. Wagner mercenaries claimed full control of the eastern Ukrainian city on Saturday, in what has been the longest battle of the war. Kyiv denies the city has fallen.
