The growing fervor for cleaner cars has driven a blockbuster IPO on Wall Street. Electric-vehicle maker Rivian opened with a share price that valued it at above 100 billion dollars before settling around 93 billion. That's bigger than fellow US firms General Motors and Ford - although Ford, along with Amazon, is a major backer of Rivian.
