On Friday Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was buried in Moscow. His casket was lowered into the ground to the sound of “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. A last message to his followers and critics. His way was courageous and defiant. His fearless way is what turned him into Putin’s number one enemy. And into a hero for millions.
On Friday, thousands of them gathered outside the church where his funeral was held. The crowd was kept behind fences that security forces set up in the morning. After the service, Navalny's parents and others paid their last respects at his grave.
Navalny's wife Yulia Navalnaya thanked him on social media for 26 years of happiness. She had vowed to continue the work of her late husband right after the news of his death.

We talk to Russia expert Doug Klain, a nonresident fellow at the Atlantic Council’s Eurasia Center in Fairfax, Virginia, USA
