The U.S. seems to be strengthening ties with India after a visit from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ending his trip with multiple deals in commerce and defence.

Though the U.S. has previously accused the 72-year-old politician of engaging in significant human rights and democracy violations, Biden said he had no interest in “lecturing” Modi on the matters this time around.
