Air quality is deteriorating in many states of the country including Delhi-NCR. Today the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has directed all the states / UTs to initiate initiatives to control air pollution from all sources. There is also more concern about pollution, because in this country cases of deadly corona virus are increasing.The ban imposed by the NGT on firecrackers will apply to every city and town in the country where air quality is recorded in the category of 'poor' or above
