Today (July 11) is the day of West Bengal Panchayat election results. Strict security arrangements have been made for the counting of votes held on July 8 and 10 amid several incidents of violence. Voters have cast their votes for 73,887 seats in the rural areas of the state. The fate of 2 lakh more candidates has to be decided.
There was widespread violence during the polling in over 61,000 polling stations for the three-tier panchayat elections held on 8 July. During the violence, ballot boxes were looted at many places, which were set ablaze or were thrown into a pond. Thereafter, re-polling was held on Monday (July 10) in about 700 polling stations (booths) in 19 districts where polling was declared invalid. The State Election Commission (SEC) conducted re-polling at 696 booths on Sunday (July 9) evening. had ordered. After this, the re-polling started at 7 am on Monday. There was no news of any major untoward incident on Monday, but 15 people lost their lives in the violence during the panchayat elections in the state. Central forces have been deployed at all the counting centers, CCTV cameras are being monitored. . News agency PTI quoted sources as saying that West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Monday (July 10) and apprised him about the violence during the elections.
आज (11 जुलाई) पश्चिम बंगाल पंचायत चुनाव के नतीजों का दिन है. हिंसा की कई घटनाओं के बीच 8 और 10 जुलाई में संपन्न हुए मतदान की मतगणना के लिए सुरक्षा के कड़े इंतजाम किए गए है. राज्य के ग्रामीण इलाकों की 73,887 सीटों के लिए मतदाताओं ने वोट डाले हैं. 2 लाख ज्यादा उम्मीदवारों की किस्मत का फैसला होना है.
8 जुलाई को हुए तीन स्तरीय पंचायत चुनाव के लिए 61,000 से ज्यादा मतदान केंद्रों पर हुए मतदान के दौरान व्यापक हिंसा हुई थी. हिंसा के दौरान कई स्थानों पर मतपेटियां लूटी गईं, जिनमें आग लगा दी गई या उन्हें तालाब में फेंक दिया गया. इसके बाद उन 19 जिलों के करीब 700 मतदान केंद्रों (बूथ) पर सोमवार (10 जुलाई) को पुनर्मतदान हुआ जहां मतदान अमान्य घोषित कर दिया गया था.राज्य निर्वाचन आयोग (SEC) ने 696 बूथ पर पुनर्मतदान का रविवार (9 जुलाई) शाम को आदेश दिया था. इसके बाद पुनर्मतदान सोमवार सुबह सात बजे शुरू हुआ था. सोमवार को किसी बड़ी अप्रिय घटना की खबर नहीं आई लेकिन राज्य के पंचायत चुनाव के दौरान हुई हिंसा में 15 लोगों ने जान गंवा दी.बता दें कि सभी मतगणना केंद्रों पर केंद्रीय बलों की तैनाती की गई है, सीसीटीवी कैमरों से नजर रखी जा रही है. न्यूज एजेंसी पीटीआई ने सूत्रों के हवाले से बताया कि पश्चिम बंगाल के राज्यपाल सीवी आनंद बोस ने सोमवार (10 जुलाई) को केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह से दिल्ली में मुलाकात कर चुनाव के दौरान हुई हिंसा के बारे में उन्हें अवगत कराया है
