In West Bengal politics, it is said that if one wants to come to power in Bengal, then you have to win in North and South 24 Parganas district. There are 64 seats in total in these two districts. There are 33 seats in North 24 Parganas and 31 seats in South 24 Parganas. In the sixth phase, in addition to 17 seats in North 24 Parganas district, polling is being held in Nadia and Uttar Dinajpur's 9-9 and eight seats of Purba Bardhaman.
