West Bank raid: 'IDF had no choice but to mop up', says former Israeli deputy foreign minister

Three children were among the 10 killed after a raid by Israeli forces on a refugee camp in the Palestinian city of Jenin, the UN humanitarian office has said.

Former Israeli deputy foreign minister and ambassador to the US, Danny Ayalon, told Sky News that Palestinian authorities were supposed to keep law and order in the city - but says "they were nowhere to be seen".

He added the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) had "no choice but to mop up."
