'We're unable to endorse either candidate' - Eurosceptic MPs

The European Research Group, a group of Eurosceptic backbench MPs, has not endorsed either Conservative Leadership candidate.

The group's chairman Mark Francois said the group could not come to an agreement about whether to back Rishi Sunak or Penny Mordaunt.

The group of influential Conservative Brexiteers met with both contenders this morning.
