That’s how Canadian actor Ryan Gosling interrupted a live TV hit that CBC News senior entertainment reporter Eli Glasner was doing from the candy pink carpet of Barbie’s premiere in Toronto.

Gosling, who plays a version of Ken in the film, proceeded to reflect on his younger self — the hip-hop-dancing, silky-shirt-sporting, hammer-pants-wearing Canadian kid whose energy permeates his latest performance.
