An international team of doctors working at a hospital in Gaza is overwhelmed by the number of patients coming in as the war between Israel and Hamas continues.

Mustafa Abu Qassim, a visiting nurse from Jordan, described the psychological pressure the medical teams are under, with doctors often carrying on with work even after losing family members.

"When we go looking, we don't find rooms for the patients," he told The Associated Press. "They’re all in the corridors, either on mattresses or blankets on the floor, or a bed without basic components."

The medical team at al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said they have been working around the clock for days, exhausted by the influx of injuries and the lack of resources to help those who need it most.
