In speaking with troops from the White House on Thanksgiving, the president repeated baseless claims about voter fraud, calling the election “rigged” despite his legal team’s many failures to provide any evidence of election tampering in the dozens of court cases they have filed in battleground states, many of which have now officially certified the vote. The transition of power to President-elect Joe Biden began earlier this week, but President Trump has not yet acknowledged that he lost.
