Russian President Vladimir Putin delivers a speech via videolink at BRICS summit in South Africa.

The BRICS summit is currently under way in Johannesburg, where leaders from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa are meeting.

But Mr Putin is not attending in person over fears he could be detained following his arrest warrant from the International Criminal Court.
