The Nobel Peace Prize for 2021 will be announced at a press conference on Friday 8 October 11:00 am (CEST), at the Norwegian Nobel Institute.

In 2021 the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded to Journalists Maria Ressa and Dmitry Muratov. The journalists are honored for their efforts to safeguard freedom of speech.
