The death of Nahel Merzouk, 17, at the hands of police in France has triggered days of violent protests across the country.

The teen was of Algerian and Moroccan descent and was shot by a police officer during a traffic stop on Tuesday in the Paris suburb of Nanterre.
French President Emmanuel Macron is meeting in the Elysee Palace with mayors of 220 cities that have been affected by the riots.
