Watch live: EU agriculture ministers meet in Brussels to discuss farming crisis

EU agriculture ministers are meeting in Brussels to discuss rapid and structural responses to the crisis situation facing the agricultural sector.

Outside the meeting, farmers have been spraying police with liquid manure and setting fire to piles of tires in a fresh show of force.

Brussels police said that 900 tractors had entered the city, many bearing down on the European Council building where the ministers were meeting
