Don Trump Jr., former President Donald Trump’s older son, spoke at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Wednesday, a day devoted to foreign policy and national security.
Trump Jr. said the country was headed in the wrong direction, then questioned “Who is actually running the country anyway?” implying President Joe Biden is not capable of the responsibilities.
“Seriously, who’s running things? Does anyone really know? Is it Jill? Is it Hunter? Barack Obama?” Trump Jr. said, referring to Biden’s wife and son.
Also on Wednesday night, Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance is also slated to formally accept the vice presidential nomination. Trump named Vance as his running mate Monday. During the convention, delegates will adopt a party platform and Trump will address the convention Thursday.
