During a visit to the FEMA headquarters in Washington Thursday, President Biden was asked about Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell’s Wednesday freeze up while talking to reporters.

“It’s not at all unusual to have a response that sometimes happens to Mitch when you’ve had a severe concussion,” Biden said.

This is the second time the 81-year-old politician has frozen up while talking to reporters in the last few months. McConnell sustained a concussion during a fall in March.

Biden went on to tell reporters he has no concerns about McConnell’s ability to do his job.
