Work is continuing in northwest China to find more than 30 people still missing after part of a road bridge collapsed.

At least 12 people died when vehicles on the bridge plummeted into the river below after flash flooding hit the region.

It is the second major bridge to collapse in the last two months, leading to questions over the country's infrastructure and whether its race to modernise is partly responsible.
