The Israeli army has forced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians to flee Rafah in Southern Gaza since its increased attacks two weeks ago.
Many live in makeshift tents in a tiny coastal patch called Al Mawasi, which lacks adequate shelter, food, water and sewage infrastructure.
The Israeli army claims it is a safe zone, but displaced Palestinians and rights groups say people are crammed into the area and are facing severe food and water shortages.

Al Jazeera’s Hani Mahmoud reports from al-Mawasi in southern Gaza.
