US media is reporting that President Joe Biden has asked the Israeli prime minister to agree to a three-day pause in fighting. That's to allow for the release of Israeli captives.
While the White House is not confirming those reports, US officials are publicly disagreeing with Israel more than they have since the war on Gaza began.
