Une ancienne bénévole dans un zoo du Texas avait volé un œuf d'alligator en 2003. Elle a gardé le reptile chez elle jusqu'à ce qu'un policier aperçoive l'animal et appelle le zoo. L'animal a été réintégré avec succès à son groupe d'origine
