Violence erupts between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel protesters in US

Protests over the Israel-Hamas war have reached boiling point at universities on both sides of the United States, with hundreds of arrests made and classes cancelled.

On the UCLA campus in California, police initially failed to intervene when fighting broke out between pro-Palestinian and pro-Israel groups.
