USHA Silai School Has Empowered Differently Abled Women In Gujarat

According to Dr Bhushan Punani, General Secretary, Blind People's Association, Gujarat, the partnership with USHA has helped in setting up 700 silai schools in 11 districts. These schools have provided opportunities to 700 specially-abled women to become entrepreneurs. This partnership has reached the women of tribal and border areas and have made them financially independent, he said.
