U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Thursday that the Biden administration would bring “changes” to its policy toward Israel if its demands to address the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Gaza are not addressed.
He added that the “horrific attack” on World Central Kitchen aid workers in Gaza “must be the last.”
Blinken made the comments while in Brussels for a NATO meeting marking the 75th anniversary of the military alliance.
The secretary of state said NATO members are focused on building up Ukraine’s defence force so it can deter future attacks and defend itself without the need for as much military support.
He said that as a result, it “makes a good deal of sense” for Ukraine to join NATO.
