US Secretary of State Antony Blinken delivers remarks on the US approach to Afghanistan on Friday, September 3. Shortly before midnight on August 30 the last US servicemen left Afghanistan after an almost 20-year long mission. The complete withdrawal of US troops out of the country took place following the Taliban takeover of power several weeks beforehand.
