One of the highest ranking politicians in the US has called the Israeli Prime Minister a major obstacle to peace. Democratic Senator Chuck Schumer also criticized Benjamin Netanyahu's tolerance of the civilian death toll in Gaza. Both Republicans and his fellow Democrats condemned Schumer's remarks.
