US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has paid tribute to the victims of the synagogue attack in Jerusalem.

He also reaffirmed the need for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian issue.

The attack, which killed seven civilians and injured many more, comes after weeks of increasing violence in the West Bank, in which 30 Palestinians have been killed.
