US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani have held a joint news conference in Doha.

It is the US official's fourth visit in three months to the Middle East.

Antony Blinken has been pressing Israel's Arab neighbours to take a future role in running Gaza as he tries to quell regional tensions.
