US President Joe Biden is to visit Israel on Wednesday in a show of solidarity.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken made the announcement, after overnight talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Blinken said they agreed to begin work on some kind plan that could see aid allowed into Gaza.
