The US has ordered the families of all American personnel at its embassy in Ukraine to leave the country. Non-essential staff have also been asked to leave.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is set to brief EU foreign ministers on the next moves aimed at defusing tensions over Ukraine and about his recent talks with his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov.
