US officials hold news conference after missing woman returns home

A news conference is being held to provide updates concerning Carlee Russell, 25, who went missing for around 48 hours before returning home.

Ms Russell disappeared after calling 911 and telling the operator that she has seen a toddler alone on the side of the road.

In an interview with NBC's TODAY show, her mother said her daughter had been abducted and the perpetrator was still out there.
